The women of La Cañada Presbyterian Church will be offering an on-campus Small Group experience, studying the book of James through the popular book James: Mercy Triumphs by Beth Moore. The small group study will meet on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., starting April 17 and ending on June 5. The cost is $20.00, which covers the cost of the book and study materials. Childcare is available.

Topics in the study will include: joy, hardship, and faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Participants will enjoy fellowship, spiritual growth and encouragement for all women in a shared journey of faith for every season in their lives.

“Beth Moore is one of the most gifted women’s bible study teachers today. She communicates with great energy, passion, humor, warmth, and grace. I personally have enjoyed growing through James: Mercy Triumphs. I look forward to this women’s study on Tuesday mornings. All are welcome,” said Heather Wills, who will be leading the study.

About La Cañada Presbyterian Church

La Cañada Presbyterian Church (LCPC) began in 1948 with 158 members and a vision to reach the world for Jesus Christ. That early church was built quite literally on faith and charity from remainder brick and an operating budget that turned just about all of its revenue into active ministry. Through 65 years of outreach, LCPC grew to 2,000 active attendees doing ministry throughout Southern California and in 40 countries around the world. In 2010 the church completed a campus expansion which doubled its physical base for ministry and kept its historical sanctuary as the heart of the new grounds.
