Pasadena can expect mostly sunny skies and above normal temperatures on Sunday, with a high near 84°, according to the National Weather Service. Northeast winds around 5 mph will become south southwest in the afternoon.

Sunday night will see partly cloudy conditions with patchy fog after 11 p.m. and a low around 54°. Winds will be calm.

The warm temperatures will continue into Monday, with a high near 78°, though increasing clouds are expected. “Monday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny,” stated the National Weather Service forecast. Winds will be light out of the south.

However, a cooling trend will begin on Tuesday, with the high only reaching around 71°. There is a chance of patchy drizzle before 11 a.m. as a deeper marine layer moves in. Gusty south southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph are expected, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Tuesday night will be mostly clear with a low around 49°F.

Temperatures will remain below normal for the second half of the week as a low pressure system impacts the region. Wednesday through Saturday will see highs in the upper 60s to near 70° with mostly cloudy skies. The National Weather Service notes there will be a slight chance of showers Thursday through Saturday. Overnight lows will be around 50°.

The National Weather Service’s forecast indicates a shift in the weather pattern for Pasadena and Los Angeles County this week, with the above normal temperatures and sunshine giving way to cooler, cloudier conditions with a chance of light rain. Residents should monitor later forecasts for updates on the rain chances.
