Stratford Altadena Middle School – Setting a Higher Standard in Education Excellence

Discover the Stratford Middle School Difference

As an independent private school, Stratford offers a challenging, uplifting academic standard with accelerated curriculum and advanced instruction from the early preschool years all the way through Grade 8. Our Middle School curriculum is intentionally designed to balance guidance with exploration as students discover a variety of academic and extracurricular opportunities, pursue their interests, build personal connections, and cultivate a deeper awareness of the world around them.

In the classroom and as advisors for after-school leadership clubs, Stratford teachers build strong connections with students that last well beyond their matriculation from middle school. This unique approach empowers students to be self-reliant, confident in their abilities, and to learn to take the initiative for their own success.
