South Pasadena High School Virtual Enterprise Students Prepare for National Competition in NYC

On March 15, 2022, the South Pasadena High School (SPHS) Virtual Business team, “Fortunate Cookies,” and students in the Virtual Enterprise Program hosted the annual Parents’ Night—a time for parents of the Intro, Junior Varsity, and Varsity businesses to watch presentations about the businesses and purchase items from the mock trade show booths. Parents’ Night was the start of a return to normalcy after more than a year of COVID-19 delays and helped build morale among the student employees. The teams also presented during the recent SPHS 8th Grade Night.

The Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, and Quickbooks competition teams are advancing to national competition in New York at the end of March. They have been practicing and perfecting their presentations to make SPHS proud. Congratulations to all the students and their teacher Cathy Mason. Go, Tigers!
