A Joyful Finale: Pasadena Waldorf School’s Spring Concert Celebrates Student Talent and Resilience

Music filled the air at Pasadena Waldorf School’s recent Spring Concert, where students from Grades 3 through 12 shared the culmination of their musical efforts with a packed audience of family, friends, teachers, and alumni. The performance served as a powerful and uplifting conclusion to a year of perseverance and creativity – one that included challenges such as lost instruments but never a loss of spirit.

At Pasadena Waldorf School music education begins early, with all students learning a string instrument starting in Grade 3. Wind instruments are introduced in Grade 5, and by High School, every student continues their musical journey by participating in one of the school’s ensembles – strings, winds, guitar, or percussion – while also contributing their voices in the school choir.

The school extends heartfelt gratitude to its dedicated music teachers and the broader PWS and Altadena community for their unwavering support in keeping music alive on campus. This concert was not only a celebration of artistic growth but also a testament to the school’s deep commitment to the arts and to nurturing the whole child.
