Alverno Jaguars Track and Field Team Wraps Up a Solid Season

Alverno Jaguars Track wrapped up their season at the CYOLA Championships last week. The B Girls team, who brought home a 3rd place team trophy, were led by outstanding finishes like that of the trio of Maddie Lencioni, Helena Lough, and Sarah Bates, who brought home a 1-2-4 finish in the javelin. This was Lencioni’s second consecutive title in the event. Personal best performances by Evelyn Farrell in the 800m, Quinn Kilpatrick in the shot put, and the 4x400m relay team added to the total.

The B Boys team did not disappoint either. The 4x100m relay team of Chase Fisher, Miles Mitchell, Max Ryan, and Brooks Patterson took home the gold medal in the event. Mitchell and Ryan teamed up again for a 2-3 finish in the javelin. Clara Tessier showed out for her final track meet as a Jaguar, bringing home a silver in the A Girls 100m, a bronze in the 200m, and anchoring the 4x100m relay. Isa Cortés, who joined Tessier on the relay, also brought home a bronze in the long jump. Roman Tekippe brought home a silver of his own in the A Boys 100m dash. Alverno Heights Academy thanks its families for supporting them this season!
