Ask a Tiger Athlete Teaches Eighth Graders About High School Athletics

South Pasadena Middle School (SPMS) eighth graders welcomed a team of South Pasadena High School (SPHS) athletes who answered questions and provided encouragement for the middle schoolers’ years ahead.

Ten SPHS athletes, who are headed to college to play sports, visited the middle school on Wednesday, May 28, for the “Ask A Tiger Athlete” panel discussion. The high school athletes took turns answering questions on subjects like practices, time management, making the team, motivation, multiple sports, and academics. Athletic Director CB Richards emceed the event, which included some SPHS Tiger merchandise for the eighth graders.

“We’re so proud of our Tigers and Tiger Cubs for helping each other and engaging in such a powerful and positive experience!”
