Assumption School First Graders’ Virtual Field Trip to a New York Sanctuary Farm

Assumption School’s First Graders enjoyed their virtual field trip to a sanctuary farm in New York. The students met many of the animals on the farm and heard their stories of how they are loved and taken care of. The students find themselves interacting with rescued cows, pigs, Llamas, ducks, and other farm animals without ever leaving the classroom. The “virtual field trip” is interwoven with the stories of the individual animals who call Farm Sanctuary home.
