Aveson School of Leaders’ Passion Project Time

It’s Aveson’s 3rd-5th grade Passion Project time! Just like Gus and his friends here, they add an action to their project. Gus’ project is focused on trash in the community. He and his friends spent time at a local park recently to pick up trash and experience first-hand how much trash litters the parks. Children learn from their second parents (teachers) and parents so it’s important that you demonstrate environmentally-friendly behavior. This could mean taking out the compost, resisting the lure of ‘fast fashion’, picking up someone else’s rubbish, planting a tree, and generally thinking globally and acting locally.
