Beats & Beignets: Westridge Students Explore the Soul of New Orleans

Beats & Beignets! In New Orleans this Discovery Week, Westridge School 11th grade students took part in a hands-on investigation of the intersections between music, history, cuisine, and regional culture. The group participated in a Mardi Gras mask-making workshop, toured the historic streets of NOLA, explored jazz at the New Orleans Jazz Museum and on an evening jazz cruise, and stepped into the studio to record, mix, and produce their own music!
