Big Hearts, Lasting Legacy: San Marino PTA Honors 2026 Community Champions



The San Marino PTA Council proudly celebrated its 2026 Honorary Service Award recipients during the 96th Annual Founders’ Day Ceremony, recognizing individuals whose dedication and service continue to make a meaningful and lasting impact on students and schools throughout the community. The event highlighted the spirit of volunteerism and commitment that defines San Marino’s strong educational support network.

2026 Honorees:

San Marino High School:
• Honorary Service Award: Jennie McNulty

Huntington Middle School:
• Very Special Person Award: June Gonzalez
• Honorary Service Award: Ellie Helmy

Carver Elementary School
• Honorary Service Award: Andrew Chan
• Honorary Service Award: Annie Tang

Valentine Elementary School:
• Honorary Service Award: Faye Kumjian

Together, these individuals were acknowledged for their exceptional contributions, with the San Marino PTA Council expressing its deep gratitude for their unwavering dedication and the positive difference they continue to make in the lives of students.

The San Marino PTA Council is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students, families, educators, and schools in the San Marino Unified School District through advocacy, volunteerism, programs, and community engagement. Chartered as part of the California State PTA network, the Council brings together the individual PTA/PTSA units from San Marino’s public schools – including Henry E. Huntington Middle School, K.L. Carver Elementary, W.L. Valentine Elementary, and San Marino High School – to collaborate, provide leadership training, coordinate activities, and amplify the collective voice for children and youth in the community.
