Catholic Charities Volunteer Award Presented to Ramona Convent Junior Samantha Bordador

Samantha with Fr. John Maria Vianney

Ramona Convent Secondary School congratulates Junior Samantha Bordador who was recognized for her services to her parish, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, at the Catholic Charities Volunteer Recognition Dinner on Monday. The school knows that Samantha is very busy and involved in many things at Ramona, but she also finds time to be an altar server and to volunteer time in the music ministry.  Her gift of song has been shared since she was a 2nd grader! In those two ministries she serves or sings for wedding, funerals, quinceneras and other special Masses.  She helps to train younger altar servers.  Now that she is confirmed, she is also able to be a Eucharistic Minister.  She was recommended for this award by her Pastor, Rev. John Maria Vianney.  Samantha, Ramona Convent is proud of you and of your generous service to others.
