Eco Hero Webinar at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School

Eco Hero Webinars were held at Assumption of the Blessed Mary School sponsored by the City of Pasadena, most recently. The Young attendees learned about how plastics are damaging ecosystems and the importance of recycling. Plastic sticks around in the environment for ages, threatening wildlife and spreading toxins. Plastic also contributes to global warming. The reliance on plastic therefore prolongs the demand for these dirty fuels. Burning plastics in incinerators also releases climate-wrecking gases and toxic air pollution. The webinar participants were also taught how to manage plastic, making new ones can be a waste of resources and how reasonable it is to reuse and reprocess plastic to prevent waste.
