Eliot Arts Magnet and Altadena Arts Magnet’s fabulous community partner, MonteCedro making 1000 candy bags for its students at both campuses!

“What happens when 30 residents get together and are presented with 9800 pieces of candy, 1000 small bags with tags and asked to assemble “Halloween Goodie Bags” for all 1000 kids of both Altadena Arts Magnet and Eliot Arts Magnet schools? They complete the task in 2 hours! All 1000 goodie bags are now tucked away in boxes and ready for delivery to the kids grades K to 8th for Halloween!

This event took the place of Montecedro’s traditional Trick-or-Treat parade, an annual event that has been put on hold due to the pandemic. MonteCedroRetirement, a Retirement & Assisted Living Facility is very hopeful they will be able to hold its parade again next year, but in the meantime, the children of both schools are in their thoughts as MonteCedro wish them a “Happy Halloween!”” – By MonteCedro
