Exploring Beyond the Classroom: Poly’s Outdoor Education Program

Poly Upper School students in grades nine through 11 have returned home from their week-long Outdoor Education trips. The trip offerings included: an immersive tall ship experience, backpacking in Big Sur, Escalante, Mt. Tumanguya, or Point Reyes, kayaking in the Channel Islands, a service-learning trip to Santa Barbara, and experiencing what sustainable living means. A huge thanks to our chaperones and Director of Outdoor Education, Laura Marion, who has helmed the program for 19 years!
