Flintridge Preparatory Senior School Student Sonal Kapoor Raises $6600 for One’s Own Foundation

Flintridge Prep Senior Sonal Kapoor, Señor Nuñez and Señor Bejarano celebrate Sonal’s donation to A World of One’s Own Foundation, a nonprofit created by Naomi Hatanaka ’11 and Kyle Eschen ’11 that raises money for Nicaraguan families affected by childhood cancer. There is only one pediatric hospital in Nicaragua, La Mascota, and these families spend incredible time and money to travel there and back. Sonal has raised $6600 for these families since her freshman year by selling Prep students’ used textbooks online and donating the proceeds to the organization.
