From Pasadena to the Pastures of Wexford: Westridge’s Art Immersion in Ireland

Westridge in Ireland! To kick off their summer, a group of 13 Upper School students flew to Cow House Studios in the farmland of county Wexford in Ireland for a summer global art program. For 10 days, students created art and took local field trips with Westridge Art Teachers Lorri Deyer and Val Trimarchi (including visiting a wool mill that has been in operation since 1778!). During their time abroad, students worked as practicing artists, creating books that combine the different mediums they worked with and experiences they had during the trip with their own unique artistic styles!
