Happy First Day of School! Roosevelt Elementray School Parents have coffee with Dr. Merle Bugarin, Principal, to kick off the year.

Some parents feel a bit emotional about the next chapter of their children’s lives and are excited about all the amazing opportunities that are ahead and proud of the wonderful person their children are becoming. Most cannot wait to watch them learn and grow as they start to spread their independent little wings. Roosevelt Elementary School address these anxieties and some unanswered question on the Orientation Day which normally happens on the First Day of School. There are those who attend the first day orientation to check in with some other first-time school mothers and fathers and are relieved to know they were also experiencing the same complex mix of emotions. In the end, parents are comforted by the fact that they are leaving their child in the care of professionals and go home with a sigh of relief and hoping their children will love school as much.
