Holy Family School’s TK Service Project

Holy Family Catholic School (HFS) believe in the power of community. Its recent TK Service Project is a testament to this belief, as it brought its students closer to their neighborhood and instilled in them a sense of responsibility towards their community.

HFS Littlest Knights created a “Thank you neighbor” gift to distribute to the neighbors. After propagating and planting 18 little succulents in 18 small ceramic pots, they gathered fruits and herbs grown in the HFS garden. Then, they gifted the gifts to the neighbors with a note thanking them for sharing the street with us.

The experience of giving of yourself at the youngest of ages, can teach a sense of self-awareness and create bonds with others, which can develop into confidence and strength.

“At Holy Family Catholic School, we passionately instill Christian values and Catholic principles in our students, guiding them through the Gospel message of Jesus Christ: FAITH, COMMUNITY, SERVICE, and EXCELLENCE. These principles are the foundation of our community and the essence of our mission.”
