Honoring Loved Ones: Sequoyah School Celebrates Dia de Los Muertos

Sequoyah School Burrow students shared memories at the K–8 ofrenda during the school’s annual Dia de Los Muertos celebration. Each year, Sequoyah honors deceased loved ones and celebrates their lives across both campuses. The ofrendas remained on display through November 5, and the community – including alumni families – was encouraged to participate by contributing items in memory of loved ones who had passed. Sequoyah School expressed gratitude to everyone who helped create this meaningful and beautiful expression of community, fostering reflection, remembrance, and connection among students, families, and staff alike.
