John Muir’s Max Diaz Selected as One of 41st Assembly District Young Legislators for 2021

John Muir High School congratulates Max Diaz! Max was selected for the 2021 41st Assembly District Young Legislators Program with State Assemblymember Chris Holden. The Young Legislators Program is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that offers high school seniors in the 41st Assembly District a front row seat to the public policy and political arena. Students will meet virtually once a month to become better advocates on issues they care about, gain valuable leadership skills, and learn about the legislative process.

Assemblymember Chris Holden started the Young Legislators Program seven years ago to give high school seniors an opportunity to gain insight on public policy and the legislative process. The program provides political experience to students regardless of their socio-economic status and teaches leadership and communication skills.
