La Salle College Preparatory Honored with Youth Service Award for Two Decades of Community Impact



La Salle College Preparatory has been recognized with the Youth Service Award by Foothill Unity Center, highlighting the school’s enduring commitment to community service. This honor reflects more than 20 years of student involvement in volunteering and outreach efforts that support the local community.

During the awards ceremony, La Salle also received recognition from Kathryn Barger and Becky Shevlin, underscoring the broader impact of the school’s service initiatives. Students representing the Lancer community at the event included Tanner Borowitz ’26, Jaslene Meza ’26, Reese Names ’26, James Wang ’26, and Kiele Wilson ’26, each exemplifying the spirit of service that defines La Salle. The school expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and pride in the meaningful difference its students continue to make in the community.
