Maranatha’s Young Artists Shine in 8th Congressional District Art Show

Maranatha High School congratulates Seoyoon Kim ‘25 for winning 3rd place in this year’s 8th Congressional District Art Competition! Out of more than 220 submissions. Seoyoon’s incredible artwork earned a monetary award and will be displayed in Congresswoman Judy Chu’s Pasadena office for the next year — replacing the piece she won with last year!

A huge shoutout as well to Kaylee Lam, Taylor Yun, Nicole Chen, Lauren Tang, and Sarah Jung for sharing their incredible talent in this year’s show. Fun fact: Kaylee’s piece was placed right at the entrance because the event team loved it so much!

It’s such a joy to see our students using their gifts to inspire others.
