Mayfield Junior School in Pasadena Continues Harvest Festival Tradition

The Harvest Festival at Mayfield Junior School is one of the school community’s valued traditions. Each year, Eighth-Grade students plan, organize, and produce a one-of-a-kind Halloween Carnival complete with festive games, a costume parade, treats, and a haunted house. All proceeds from Harvest Festival are distributed to charities and Reach Out projects at the end of the school year.

Mayfield reimagined this year’s event in support of health and safety protocols. The school hosted on-campus stations for students to enjoy with their classes and walk-thru activities for parents around the perimeter of the campus. Parents watched the Costume Parade from Waldo Avenue, picked up lunch outside of the gymnasium, participated in a Trunk-or-Treat walk-thru in the school’s parking lot, and collected cakes and opportunity drawing prizes on Euclid Avenue.
