McKinley School of the Arts Drumline Captivates Crowd at Pasadena Black History Festival



The talented drumline from McKinley School of the Arts delivered a mesmerizing performance at the Pasadena Annual Black History Festival on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The drummers modeled excellence, precision, and skill as they performed multiple dynamic drum cadences that energized the crowd and showcased their remarkable musical discipline. Their powerful rhythms and coordinated movements captured the spirit of the celebration and highlighted the students’ dedication to their craft. The school community expressed great pride in the drumline’s outstanding performance and the way the students represented their school on such a meaningful stage. Special appreciation was extended to the talented drummers and to Mr. Tyson for their continued hard work, leadership, and commitment to musical excellence.
