Middle School Junior Docents at the Gamble House

Marshall Fundamental middle school students recently began their training with the Gamble House and the Pasadena History Museums as Junior Docents. They complete deep studies of the architecture, art, and history of the assigned museum during first semester. Second-semester students will provide tours for Elementary School students. The same tours they were led on as Elementary School students. This experience allows students to work on their public speaking, communication, critical thinking, and collaborative skills.

Marshall Fundamental School thanks Pasadena Unified School District GATE program and the Pasadena Educational Foundation My Masterpieces Program for the opportunity. Also to the Gamble House and the Pasadena History Museum for their collaborative partnership. (pictured Gamble House Docents)
