Pasadena turned the tables in dramatic fashion on Wednesday, edging La Salle 6-4 in a tightly contested matchup. After falling short in their previous meeting, the Bulldogs responded with a composed and determined performance, securing their second straight victory.

A standout effort came from Dylan Derosier, who delivered a complete performance on both sides of the ball. The right-hander went the distance on the mound, surrendering just three earned runs while scattering six hits across seven innings. He also made his presence felt offensively, contributing a hit, driving in a run, scoring once, and swiping two bases. His aggressive baserunning continues to be a difference-maker for Pasadena, as the team has consistently found success when he creates pressure on the basepaths.

Offensively, Aaron Martinez provided a spark with a flawless showing at the plate, reaching base twice and adding a run and an RBI. His timely hitting helped keep Pasadena’s momentum alive throughout the game. Maximus Reynolds also played a key role, reaching base in three of his four appearances and crossing the plate once, helping sustain crucial rallies.

With the win, Pasadena improves to 5-10 on the season and builds momentum heading into its next game. The Bulldogs will return home on Friday to face Glendale, a team that has struggled defensively and could offer Pasadena an opportunity to extend its streak.

Meanwhile, La Salle drops to 14-5 after a recent stretch of inconsistency, having lost three of its last four contests. The Lancers will aim to regroup quickly as they prepare to host Alhambra, in what promises to be a low-scoring battle between two defensively strong teams.
