Pasadena High School and La Cañada High School with Other schools Tutor Afghan Girls

This is a very inspiring initiative where students at Pasadena High School and La Cañada High School and other schools are tutoring Afghan girls when it is evening here and daytime in Afghanistan. They had a table at the PUSD Science Fest. Shown are three PHS students and a La Canada student. It’s a great day to be a Bulldog! Photos courtesy of Scott Phelps.

About the Project OMID: Omid (meaning Hope in Dari) was founded by Sophia (Sophie) Lee, who has been tutoring a group of girls in Kabul since the beginning of 2022 and hopes to impact the lives of more girls.
