Pasadena High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team Secures 1- 0 Victory Over Burroughs

The Pasadena High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team continued its strong showing against Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) on Saturday, earning a hard-fought 1–0 win. The Bulldogs controlled the match defensively and refused to allow the Bears any scoring opportunities.

With the win, Pasadena improves its overall record to 6-7-3. Burroughs Bears, meanwhile, falls to 5-8-2 and is now working to regroup after a three-game skid.

Both squads will head on the road for their next matchups. Pasadena is set to face Burbank on Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. in what is expected to be a closely contested game, as Burbank’s recent matches have all been decided by a single goal or less. Burroughs will also travel Tuesday afternoon to take on Crescenta Valley at 3:45 p.m., where they will look to halt a red-hot opponent riding a four-game winning streak.
