Pasadena Waldorf School Third Graders Help Build New Outdoor Stage

In Waldorf education, Grade 3 marks a pivotal year when students begin exploring practical arts such as building, gardening, and cooking. Through meaningful, hands-on work, they develop confidence, a sense of capability, and a deeper connection to their surroundings. Pasadena Waldorf School third graders are putting these lessons into practice by helping construct the school’s new outdoor stage. From digging footings to hauling concrete piers, students are gaining valuable real-world experience while building resilience, strengthening practical skills, and contributing to a lasting addition to their school community.
