Poly Community Drive Provides Vital Support for Families in Need

UPDATE: Thanks to the generosity of the community, donations are being paused at this time. The doors remain open to families in need of supplies. Thank you!

Day 2 of Polytechnic School’s Community Drive took place on Sunday, January 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Gamble Gym. Poly families impacted by the Los Angeles fires were invited to stop by for essential supplies, including adult and children’s clothing, blankets and linens, toiletries, bottled water, pet items, and more.

During the drive, only the following supplies were collected:

• Boys’ clothing in youth sizes small and medium
• New children’s underwear
• Diapers and pull-ups
• Lunch or bento boxes
• Hygiene items such as hairbrushes, tampons/pads, deodorant, dental floss, and chapstick

Polytechnic School extends tremendous thanks to its Parent Organization and the hundreds of volunteers who swiftly organized this effort. The outpouring of generosity from the Poly community was remarkable, exemplifying the school’s core values in action.
