PUSD: Apply Now for PUSD’s First District-Wide Student Assembly

PUSD high school students, make your voices heard! Apply now for PUSD’s first district-wide Student Assembly and represent fellow students on the PUSD Board of Education.

Currently-enrolled PUSD high school students can join PUSD’s first Student Assembly and represent fellow students on PUSD’s Board of Education (BOE)! Each school will elect members from each grade, and YOU are invited to run for office at your grade level!

Juniors who are voted in to join the Assembly will serve on the Student Council and offer input through preferential votes at PUSD’s monthly Board of Education (BOE) meetings. Student Council members from all PUSD high schools will rotate attendance at BOE meetings; however, all PUSD BOE agenda items (except material for closed sessions) will be discussed and voted on at Student Assembly meetings at all six high schools.

PUSD Student’s Think Tank will act as a support service to the Student Assembly, and will provide help as needed. This includes, but is not limited to: training student board members, giving support for meetings, and attending assembly meetings.

Applications now open at https://www.pusd.us/studentassembly.

Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD), 351 S. Hudson Avenue, Pasadena, (626) 396-3600 or visit www.pusd.us.
