PUSD Celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with MLK Community Coalition



Today, January 15, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) in collaboration with the Pasadena MLK Community Coalition celebrates the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event was held at the Robinson Park Recreation Center (1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Pasadena) with the Teach-In with the main program which continued until 10:00 a.m. The winners of the Essay and Art Contest were also announced during the main program. This year’s theme is “Defining and Living the Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” “Let us all become drum majors for justice, peace, and righteousness!”.
