PUSD Celebrates Launch of Read LA

Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) celebrated the launch of the Read LA! Bookmobile at James Madison Elementary School. The new mobile literacy hub will travel across the County of Los Angeles, providing access to books, bilingual storytime sessions, and family literacy resources for local communities.

Special recognition was given to Families In Schools for helping make the initiative possible, as well as to Scholastic for its generous donation of books that will help students build their personal home libraries.

The Read LA! Bookmobile initiative is designed to expand equitable access to reading materials and foster a lifelong love of reading among children throughout the region.
