Several PUSD students can go ahead and pat themselves on the back for earning prestigious academic awards from the College Board’s National Recognition Programs!

Blair students Auden Perez, Hadrian Huidor, Minal Saldivar, and former Blair student Hagop Frias have each earned the National Hispanic Recognition Award (NHRA). The National African American Recognition Awards (NAARA) went to Blair junior Milan Walker and to Makenna Walker who already passed the California High School Proficiency Exam and is now attending Glendale Community College.

These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them stand out during the admissions process. Outstanding work, indeed. Congratulations!
