Ramona Celebrates Mardi Gras!

Ramona Convent Secondary School’s French Club and Student Council did an amazing job planning its Mardi Gras festivities! Good food! Good music! Good entertainment! Good friends! Good times!Β  Mardi Gras (French for Fat Tuesday) is a centuries-old tradition that dates back to the Middle Ages. It was initially celebrated by European Christians as a way to mark the beginning of Lent and to prepare for the fasting period of Easter. Today, it is one of the world’s most colorful and vibrant festivals, featuring party-like parades, elaborate costumes, lively music, and indulgent feasting.Β  Ramona thanks Ms. Louka and Ms. Green for leading this great collaborative event. πΏπ’Άπ’Ύπ“ˆπ“ˆπ‘’π“ π“π‘’π“ˆ π’·π‘œπ“ƒπ“ˆ π“‰π‘’π“‚π“…π“ˆ π“‡π‘œπ“Šπ“π‘’π“‡ (“Let the good times roll!)
