Ramona Convent: Compassion for Life

Did you know there are more slaves in the world today than there were before and during the American Civil War? Ramona Convent students, parents, staff and faculty participated once again in the annual L.A. Freedom Walk on International Human Trafficking Awareness Day.

Everyone gathered on Saturday morning, January 11th at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Hollywood to unite in prayer, hear the story of a survivor of human trafficking, and march the streets of Hollywood. A feeling of unity was felt as everyone chanted, marched, and drummed their way around the city!
