Ramona Convent Secondary School to Participate in LA Freedom Walk Virtually

The LA Freedom Walk against human trafficking is happening this year virtually! It will be this Saturday, January 9, from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

Remembering the past 10 years in which Ramona students physically walked on Hollywood and Wilshire Boulevards, they will stand together through Zoom for this year’s event. Along with survivor testimony, they will also have a brief sharing, a brief educational piece, and a closing rally with a reflection by Sister Kathleen Bryant. A few of Ramona students, Dominique R. ’22, Samantha C. ’22, and Cassidy S. ’21, will have speaking parts.

To Fully Participate:

Pre-Register your participation today: 2021LAWalkforFreedom.eventbrite.com or find us on Facebook: bit.ly/fb2021LAWalkforFreedom. CREATE zoom backgrounds as signs to display during the virtual walk (choose from the images attached – right click and save the image)

Invite your friends to sign up and show up to be with us. WATCH your email for more information and ZOOM links to the event. Zoom will be opened at 8:45 a.m.

Human trafficking is a reality in every community in Southern California and around the world. “Let’s empower each other to bring it to an end!”
