San Marino High School Welcomes Students From Taiwan for Cultural Exchange

San Marino High School recently welcomed a delegation of 21 students from Taipei First Girls’ High School in Taiwan for an afternoon of cultural exchange and campus exploration. During their visit, the students experienced campus life at SMHS through bilingual tours led by ASB hospitality students Matthew Woo, Claire Huang, Ami Chien, and Keila Sakaue-Ly, who served as student ambassadors.

The district expressed its gratitude to Ivy and Richard Sun, Principal Chen, the visiting teachers, and everyone who helped make the international exchange possible. School officials said opportunities like these strengthen global connections, promote cross-cultural understanding, and foster friendships that extend beyond the classroom.
