Save the Date: Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary School Invites Local Families to Fall Open House on Sunday, Nov. 8
Pasadena families and prospective parents are encouraged to mark their calendars so they don’t miss Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (ABVM) School’s upcoming Fall Open House on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Held on the school’s campus at 2660 E. Orange Grove Blvd. in Pasadena, this signature annual event offers families a firsthand look at ABVM’s faith-filled community, academic excellence, and dynamic student life for Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Visitors will be greeted at the Orange Grove entrance by Student Ambassadors—led by Student Council—and Parent Ambassadors. Prospective families will receive grade-tailored admissions packets, complimentary refreshments, and ABVM giveaway gifts, with admissions staff on hand for one-on-one Q&A.
Guided Tours, Open Classrooms, and Student Showcases
During the two-hour event, guided campus tours will highlight open classrooms across all grade levels (TK–8), showcasing student work portfolios, interactive curriculum displays, and technology integration.
Highlights of the Fall Open House program include:
• Open Classrooms & Faculty Q&A: Meet dedicated teachers across all grade levels and explore coursework, novel units, and academic displays.
• Performing Arts & Student Showcases: Live student performances in the ABVM Gymnasium at 10:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., featuring opening remarks by Principal Robert Bringas Jr.
• Specialist & Program Stations: Interactive booths detailing ABVM’s 1-to-1 iPad program, STEP learning support, Athletics (led by Athletic Director Coach Suckling), Visual Arts, Music, Gator Club Extended Care (7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.), Spanish, and Boy/Girl Scout troops.
• Faith & Community: Overviews of ABVM’s weekly Mass, Middle School Service Hour program, and student Buddy Program pairing older and younger students.
