Sequoyah School: Seeking Internship Hosts for this School Year

Hello Sequoyah Families,

Would you be willing to host a 12th grade intern at your workplace during the 2023-24 school year? The Social Innovation Program (SIP) is in search of organizations and companies eager to have young, creative problem-solvers in their midst. See below for examples of past InternSIP placements and projects.

Sequoyah’s senior class has spent the past three years working on SIP initiatives designed to create a more just and sustainable world and they are ready to apply their skills in a professional setting. They are well-practiced in: conducting interviews with a diversity of people to better define problems, big and small; engaging in creative brainstorming to come up with viable, impactful solutions; reflecting on their own positionality relative to other people and issues; and humbly rolling up their sleeves and doing what needs to get done!

We are aiming to finalize an InternSIP list for our newly-minted seniors to review and pursue by the end of August.
