Sequoyah School Students Explore Hispanic and Latino Stories Through Biography

To celebrate the start of Latinx/Hispanic Heritage Month, Sequoyah School’s Spanish and Library collaborated on a study exploring the biographies of remarkable Hispanic and Latino individuals with Treehouse and Egrets Perch classes.

Reading their stories, students are practicing our Habit of Mind: Perspective—learning about different lives, experiences, and ways of seeing the world.
