Sequoyah School’s Treehouse Class Builds Caterpillar Highways in the Grove

Katie and the Sequoyah School Treehouse class thoughtfully created a small “highway system” to help caterpillars safely travel through the Grove to reach the milkweed, since the caterpillars don’t seem to enjoy crossing the wood chips. This creative solution shows the students’ careful observation and genuine care for the natural world around them. By adapting the environment to meet the needs of these tiny creatures, the class turned a simple challenge into a meaningful learning experience. Thank you, Treehouse, for looking out for and protecting your caterpillar friends!
