SMUSD Staff and Students Join California Crunch Day

San Marino Unified School District (SMUSD) students and staff joined schools across California on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, in celebrating California Crunch Day and Farm-to-School Month.

During lunchtime, students across the District had the opportunity to “crunch” together on locally grown carrots while celebrating healthy food choices and the importance of locally grown foods. The event offered a fun way for students to connect with California agriculture while enjoying a healthy snack.

SMUSD thanked its Food Services team for bringing this fun and healthy experience to schools throughout the District. “Let’s Crunch, SMUSD!”
