St. Rita’s Coach Shannon Tavera is CYO Coach of the Year

On Sunday, a handful of St. Rita School’s (SRS) 2022 graduates attended a CYO Awards luncheon to recognize some of the top athletes in the L.A. Archdiocese! The biggest surprise happened when SRS’ very own Athletic Director, Cross Country Coach, and Track & Field Coach Shannon Tavera won CYO Coach of the Year for the entire Archdiocese of L.A. which is comprised of well over 100 schools. SRS is grateful for Mrs. Tavera’s leadership and always inspiring the athletes!

The Raiders also won the East Region Director’s Cup for our dominant sports programs!
7 of our Raider athletes were recognized as members of the All CYO Team in their specific sports.
