STEM Energy Hits Peak at La Cañada High School – SoCal FTC Kickoff Draws Young Engineers



The La Cañada High School campus was alive with activity on Saturday, September 6, 2025, during the Southern California FIRST® Tech Challenge Kickoff event. An Instagram post by the school, published on September 9, shared the excitement with the community. SoCal FTC. The campus welcomed aspiring young engineers and STEM enthusiasts eager to dive into robotics. Participants gathered to experience the annual kickoff, where this year’s game challenge-FIRST AGE presented by Qualcomm – was unveiled. Teams got their first glimpse of the game, inspected field elements, and received a free set of parts to jump-start their robot-building journey.
