The Annual Turkey Tussle is on Friday, April 16 at The Rose Bowl

With 680 patrons in attendance



The annual Turkey Tussle homecoming football game between Pasadena High School and John Muir High School is on Friday, April 16 at the Rose Bowl with 680 patrons in attendance. Kickoff is at 5:00 p.m.

The cross town rivalry football game between two high schools in Pasadena began (officially) in 1947. Pasadena High School and John Muir High School meet on the field for their homecoming football game and their final Pacific League game. For 74 years the “bell” has been the symbol of the Turkey Tussle and it has been passed back and forth between Pasadena High School and John Muir High Schools.

The Annual Turkey Tussle will be broadcast by KRLN at goPUSD.com/livesports.
