The Carver 5th Grade Students on K-Patrol!

Carver 5th Grade students on K-Patrol helping TK/Kindergarten students get to the Kindergarten Yard. In general, Carver’s youngest students are not ready to cross a street alone … in areas with unsafe routes where young children are already walking or bicycling out of necessity, road safety education is needed to reduce the risk of injury to children. One such Carver measure is educating older Fifth graders with the K-Patrol program, where they are basically taught how to manage the streets in order to assist Kindergartners.
