Book lovers can find bargains and support a local library at a huge used book sale on Sunday.
The Friends of Altadena Library is hosting the sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Main Library Parking Lot, 600 E. Mariposa St., weather permitting. If it rains, the sale will be inside on the Main Floor.
Only members of Friends of Altadena Library can shop from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., but anyone can join on-site for $10. The sale is open to all from 12 to 4 p.m.
Thousands of adult nonfiction, children’s books and more will be available for purchase.
The Friends of Altadena Library is an organization that advocates for library services and programs, volunteers and fundraises. It also works to set up buyback programs for weeded materials with a discount from Baker & Taylor Books.
