Theatre Americana, a nonprofit organization that produces original plays and musicals, is bringing Broadway to Pasadena in September with a musical review featuring classics and dance numbers.

The event, “Broadway Bliss,” will be held on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22 and 23, at the Portico Artspace, located at 2033 E. Washington Blvd. The show will include a performance of “Masquerade” from “Phantom of the Opera,” among other songs.

VIP tickets are $50 and include a reception with mocktails and hors d’oeuvres from 6 to 7 p.m.

Regular tickets are $35.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Zonta Club of Burbank Area, a service organization that supports women and girls through advocacy, fundraising and direct service.

Since its chartering in 1936, the Zonta Club has brought together business people and community members willing to volunteer their time to raise money, advocate and provide direct service to women in need. The club serves the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys.

The Zonta Club of Burbank Area is part of Zonta International, founded in 1919 as a global organization dedicated to empowering women through service and advocacy. Worldwide, it currently has over 29,000 members in nearly 1,200 Zonta clubs in 63 countries.
